Shinmura Judo @ Heritage

Shinmura Judo as partnered with Heritage Community to offer youth aged 5-14 opportunity to experience the olympic sport of judo!

Mitakuyé Owâs’ā Centre (1770 Halifax Street)

Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00PM

Stay fit, make new friends, build confidence, and learn the basics of Judo in a safe and fun environment.

Classes offer judoka (students) the opportunity to develop general awareness of the body and general fitness through judo-specific activities and games . All judoka will focus on Judo etiquette, rules and concept of fair play. There is a focus on technical development and an introduction to modified competition.
