Welcome to Thom Collegiate Judo! Here’s our class schedule, designed to cater to all ages:
Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays for an exciting judo adventure that fosters discipline, fitness, and tons of fun!

FUNdamental Judo - Parent & Child (ages 4-6 w/ parent) | 5:30-6:10

FUNdamental Youth Beginners (ages 6-12) | 5:30-6:10

Pre-Competitive (ages 9-12) | 6:15-7:15 PM

Adult Recreational (ages 13+) | 6:15-7:15 PM

High School & Competitive (ages 13+) | 7:15-9:00 PM

Classes use ages and belts as guidelines. The technical director will assign you to the best suited for you. Contact us if you are unsure of which class is best for you!

Each student must have a Judo uniform or “judogi”. New judogi's may be purchased at a discounted rate through the club. Click here to learn more about judogis.

We are run by volunteers and have no paid coaches. Many members donate their time and expertise to make our clubs successful!

Judo Saskatchewan/Judo Canada Membership Information
Membership in Judo Saskatchewan is mandatory for everybody training at Shinmura Judo. Judo Saskatchewan is the provincial organization responsible for promoting and developing Judo in the province. Membership provides substantial benefits such as supplemental insurance against any injuries resulting from Judo training. It also supports seminars, referee training, provincial team development, and other activities that strengthen the future of Judo in Saskatchewan.

U8 to U14 – $60.00 (MUDANSHA (colour belts)

U16 to 21+ – $65.00 (MUDANSHA (colour belts)

Black Belts – $45.00

School – $15.00 (​VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: If your child is in school, you can use the SCHOOL registration type ONLY if the follow criteria are met:

Enrolled in elementary or high school

Judoka DOES NOT plan to compete in any tournament at all during the 2025/2026 year

Green belt or below

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW MEMBERS: All other Judoka that do not meet this criteria choose registration type: MUDANSHA (colour belts) When selecting Membership type (Judo Saskatchewan). ​​
