Registration Information & Fees

General Membership Information:

To become a member or train with Shinmura Judo and/or Judokats Weightlifting,  you will need to register with the Provincial Sport Governing Body.

 

For insurance and liability reasons, you must be a member in good standing the provincial organization in order to participate in classes.​

​

​​Shinmura Judo and Judokats Weightlifting are run by volunteers and have no paid coaches.  Many members donate their time and expertise to make our clubs successful.

Financial Assistance

Shinmura Judo would like all members of the community to have the opportunity to enjoy judo, regardless of economic circumstance. 

JumpStart

💲 Removing Financial Barriers. Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activity. https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/pages/individual-child-grants

KidSport Regina

💲KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. https://kidsportcanada.ca/saskatchewan/regina/apply-for-a-grant/

Judo4All Program

💲Judo Canada in partnership with the Canadian Sports for All initiative is providing funding to offer free judo classes for children from equity-deserving groups, specifically newcomers & indigenous youth. 

25 spots available for children ages 5-14

  • Free judo classes for 2025-2026 

  • Free judogi

  • Free JudoSaskatchewan/Judo Canada membership
