Nest Fitness Center Membership Information:

To become a member or train with Shinmura Judo or Judokats Weightlifting,  you will need to register with the Provincial Sport Governing Body, as well as, acquire membership at the Nest Fitness Centre or pay drop-in fee of $10/visit.

The Nest Regina Fitness Membership Information:

Nest Fitness operates as any other membership-based fitness club or gym in the city!  Monthly, family annual, and punch-pass options are available for purchase on their membership page!

Youth Memberships Information:

Nest Fitness has a special 'Junior' membership option for youth under 16 years old.

  • $32.50/month + $25 initial one-time equipment fee

(Junior membership allows access to judo/weightlifting classes & use of locker rooms. Junior members do not have access to the fitness center unsupervised or towel service)

Judo Saskatchewan/Judo Canada Membership Information

Membership in Judo Saskatchewan is mandatory for everybody training at Shinmura Judo. Judo Saskatchewan is the provincial organization responsible for promoting and developing Judo in the province.  Membership provides substantial benefits such as supplemental insurance against any injuries resulting from Judo training. It also supports seminars, referee training, provincial team development, and other activities that strengthen the future of Judo in Saskatchewan.

To register for Judo Saskatchewan/Judo Canada CLICK HERE TO REGISTER .  The Judo Saskatchewan/Canada membership fees are as follows:

  • U8 to U14 – $60.00 (MUDANSHA (colour belts)

  • U16 to 21+ – $65.00 (MUDANSHA (colour belts)

  • Black Belts – $45.00

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW MEMBERS:  When selecting Membership type (Judo Saskatchewan), ensure you select MUDANSHA (colour belts).  DO NOT select Introduction.

 

INTRODUCTION PROGRAMS:

  • *Introductory & Self Defense Programs – $10

*No competitions or similar activities (ex: organized randori), No voting powers. No gradings

 

Saskatchewan Weighlifting/Weightlifting Canada Membership Information

Membership in SWA is mandatory for everybody training at Judokats Weightlifting. SWA is the provincial organization responsible for promoting and developing olympic weightlifting in the province.  Membership provides substantial benefits such as supplemental insurance against any injuries resulting from weightlifting training. It also supports seminars, referee training, provincial team development, and other activities that strengthen the future of olympic weightlifting in Saskatchewan.

 

To register for SWA/Weightlifting Canada CLICK HERE TO REGISTER .  The fees are as follows:

  • Junior/Youth Membership - $50 (20 years & younger)

  • Senior/Masters - $80 (21 years & older)

  • SWA Coaches & Officials Membership - $50

~If you are both an athlete as well as a coach and/or official, please purchase the athlete membership.

For insurance and liability reasons, you must be a member in good standing with the Nest and provincial organization in order to participate in classes.

Shinmura Judo and Judokats Weightlifting are run by volunteers and have no paid coaches.  Many members donate their time and expertise to make our clubs successful. We are not for profit organizations.

Potential new members are welcome to try things out before committing to become a member of our Judo Club. It is $10/visit until a person determines whether Judo is right for them.
